General Dentistry

Exams & Cleanings

Visit us every 6 months for a comprehensive oral health check-up. Let’s make sure your teeth are in tip-top shape with advanced x-rays, gentle cleanings, and customized general dentistry treatment plan recommendations. We treat every patient we see as an individual and will recommend when your next appointment needs to be based on your dental health. You may need to come for check-ups as regularly as every three months if a particular aspect of your health needs to be monitored. However, if everything looks good, then we may not need to see you again for another two years.

Gum disease (also known as periodontal disease) is the #1 cause of preventable tooth loss in adults today. Gum disease occurs when bacteria-filled plaque and calculus build up along the gumline. Without proper oral hygiene, this bacteria will slowly eat away at and damage your teeth, gums, and jaw bone. We offer a variety of preventive care and gum disease treatments. Our recommendations are catered to your specific situation and what will work best for your health. However, a deep cleaning (also called scaling and root planing) is often the most effective way to prevent gum disease and can help your body recover if gum disease is detected.
