Gum disease treatment
Gum disease (also known as periodontal disease) is the #1 cause of preventable tooth loss in adults today. Gum disease occurs when bacteria-filled plaque and calculus build up along the gumline. Without proper oral hygiene, this bacteria will slowly eat away at and damage your teeth, gums, and jaw bone. We offer a variety of preventive care and gum disease treatments. Our recommendations are catered to your specific situation and what will work best for your health. However, a deep cleaning (also called scaling and root planing) is often the most effective way to prevent gum disease and can help your body recover if gum disease is detected.
Emergency dental treatment
We Help With Every Dental Emergency… You have a toothache It hurts to chew, brush, or speak A tooth is loose, broken, or just feels “weird” You’ve broken or lost a crown or filling Your gums are bleeding or swollen
Treating TMJ may involve: TMJ Splint — Custom-made mouth guard to reposition your jaw to a more favorable and comfortable position so that the jaw muscles can relax and alleviate pain. Botox — Helps relax tense jaw muscles and alleviate pain Invisalign — If there is a bite issue, we may recommend Invisalign. Dental implants — if missing teeth have caused misalignment, tooth replacement may be recommended. Full-mouth reconstruction — If the teeth have been severely worn-down and broken, it may be necessary to restore the teeth back to a healthy shape and size allowing for pain-free function. In some cases, we may refer you to a physical therapist or recommend lifestyle changes.
